Felled in the winter of 1739, trees that became logs that became the cabin at 417 N. Jonathan Street are again seeing new life, thanks to the help of our friend and local maker, Andrew Richard.

Using oak salvaged from our Historic Property Redevelopment project in Hagerstown, Md., Andrew created some beautiful pieces, some of which you can view in the gallery below. Watch this space for more on what we’ll be doing with these one-of-a-kind storied works.
