Maria Mougridis

Maria Mougridis currently works as the Preservation Initiatives Manager with Preservation Maryland where she leads education and outreach opportunities throughout the state. In her previous role she worked with the Texas Historical Commission as the Certified Local Government Specialist where she helped promote preservation efforts through community engagement and preservation training. She has a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Stephen F. Austin State University, as well as a master’s degree in public history, with a focus in historic preservation, from Southeast Missouri State University.
