Serving as the central depository for Maryland’s most significant historical documents, the Maryland State Archives holds records dating from the states founding in 1634 through present day. As part of their collection, the State Archives has many documents related to land records which are invaluable when doing historic property research. Join Preservation Maryland on Wednesday March 27th at 2pm for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Hall of Records in Annapolis to learn more about their work and collections and get a sneak peek at a few special resources documenting Maryland’s historic built environment.This is a no-cost event, but registration is required.
