Preservation Maryland is soliciting proposals from qualified workshop facilitators to host a series of workshops across the Chesapeake Bay watershed in select gateway communities and to compile a summary report with the goal of facilitating the networking, planning, and development of inclusive and engaging local events and programming that commemorate the 250th anniversary of American Independence in 2026.
Through an ongoing partnership with the Chesapeake Bay Office of the National Park Service, Preservation Maryland is supporting an effort to develop a broad and inclusive, locally led approach to the upcoming commemoration of the 250th anniversary of American Independence. To inform strategic development of purposeful and organized efforts, Preservation Maryland is hiring a qualified consultant to develop, coordinate, and execute at least nine (9) in-person workshops and one (1) virtual workshop.
Preservation Maryland requests that interested parties respond to the solicitation by 5PM ET on February 1, 2024.
