Washington, DC
Docomomo DC is hosting a unique walking and Metro tour on Saturday, October 7, 2017, featuring the District’s brutalist architecture – an architectural style everyone loves to hate, but marks an important period in the history of design and recent demolitions have shown that now is the time to reevaluate and celebrate this architecture. The tour will start with a lecture by Michael Kubo, co-author of Heroic: Concrete Architecture and the New Boston at the AIA Headquarters.
