Community Forklift, a Prince George’s County-based building material reuse store, will host The Funkyard Festival on Saturday, October 21, 2017 – and Preservation Maryland will be there!
What is Community Forklift?
Community Forklift is a non-profit reuse center for home improvement supplies. They pick up donations of unwanted and salvaged building materials throughout the metro DC region and then, make the building materials available to the public at low cost, and provide vintage materials for restoring old homes. As a preservation partner, Community Forklift also does a great job with outreach and public education about reuse.
