Maryland Liberty Tree Project Kickoff Event

Join us on March 25 at 11 a.m. at Historic Annapolis‘ William Paca House and Garden in Annapolis for the kickoff of the Maryland Liberty Tree Project, a landmark commemoration of America’s 250th.
Grown from a surviving genetic descendant of Maryland’s original 1775 Liberty Tree — the only state in the nation with this direct living link — new trees will take root in all 23 counties and Baltimore City by the end of 2026, standing as powerful symbols of the ideals that shaped our state and nation.
Be there as we plant the first tree and launch this statewide legacy.
