Proclaimed by the Governor and organized by the Archeological Society of Maryland, April is Maryland Archaeology Month – and this year their is a focus on the real impact of water on our natural and cultural resources.
Archaeologists across the state have contributed to and edited, “At the Water’s Edge: Our Past on the Brink,” as a series of academic essays on the topic of sea-level rise and erosion, along with research findings from sites along the Chesapeake. A free PDF download is available online.
