 This year’s Phoenix Rising and Best of Maryland Awards will be hosted at The Winslow in the Parker Metal Building. Located in Southern Baltimore, the historic industrial complex was home to the Parker Metal Decorating Company. The family business specialized in metal lithography, revolutionizing the process here in the early 20th-century. As we mark the 250th anniversary of the nation’s independence, it’s the craftsmanship and revolutionary ideas that took place in buildings like this that encompass the stories and places that Preservation Maryland is dedicated to protecting and investing in. 

Please join us on Thursday, October 15th as we gather with friends, supporters, and colleagues to celebrate another year of accomplishments in preservation!

Delicious food and drink will be provided by Linwoods Catering. The event’s programming will include our class of 2026 Best of Maryland Award winners, with this year’s nominations opening on Monday, June 8th. The new class of awardees will be announced in early September.
