Preservation Maryland Revolving Loan Fund
The Preservation Maryland Revolving Loan Fund is designed to support the revitalization of historic properties within Maryland’s main street corridors. In collaboration with the Maryland Historical Trust, this program offers financial assistance to nonprofits, political subdivisions, and business entities aiming to rehabilitate, restore, and/or retrofit historic buildings. By providing these loans, we aim to preserve Maryland’s rich heritage while fostering economic growth in commercial areas.

Eligibility Criteria
The application is NOW OPEN for Preservation Maryland’s new loan program. In partnership & funding from the Maryland Historical Trust, Preservation Maryland will be accepting loan applications on a rolling basis. The loan program is open to nonprofits, political subdivisions, and/or business entities for the rehabilitation, restoration, and/or energy retrofitting of historic properties contributing to Maryland’s main streets & commercial corridors.
Funding Details
With a total of $270,000 available, loans are awarded based on a competitive review process. Applicants are encouraged to submit proposals early to secure funding.
