The Council for Maryland Archeology’s Native American Liaison Committee is partnering with Preservation Maryland and Towson University to sponsor a Summit of Maryland Indigenous People and Archaeologists on September 6.
The Summit is the result of two years of discussions regarding building understanding and identifying best practices among communities who greatly value Maryland’s heritage and culture and who want to establish good relations and practices to support mutual preservation priorities, access, and knowledge sharing.
This event is open to preservation and heritage professionals, students, and indigenous community members. The session order is:
