After six years of service, Doug Harbit, former Director of Development at Preservation Maryland, has returned to private practice.
Throughout his tenure with Preservation Maryland, Mr. Harbit helped to advance the cause of historic preservation and expand the capacity of the organization. Among his contributions, he supported an increased role in fundraising with the Board of Directors and the raising funds for workforce development, the historic property revolving fund as well as attracting ongoing philanthropic support for the organization’s professional development conference.
Moving forward, Mr. Harbit plans to continue his work in philanthropy by assisting more organizations expand their resources and advance worthwhile causes. He may be reached at DHarbit@PhilanthropyPtns.com.
