Celebrate the launch of Finding the Maryland 400: The Maryland Line in the Revolutionary War with a presentation by the author, Owen Lourie, exploring the Maryland soldiers who fought in the American Revolution, the battles that shaped their story, and the legacy of the Maryland 400. Books will be available for purchase. With each ticket purchase, guests will receive a complimentary drink ticket and enjoy lite fare.
Set at McClintock Distilling, one of Maryland’s modern craft distilleries, the evening is part of Preservation Maryland’s Spirited History initiative, which aims to study the history of iconic and everyday alcohol manufacturers in the state’s past, connecting the rich history of the industry to today’s craft beverage production, and highlighting how Maryland remains a world-class producer today. Spirited History is sponsored in part by a grant from the Department of Commerce’s Maryland Alcohol Manufacturing Promotion Fund.
