Along with more than 100 signs in Maryland, there are four suggested driving routes in Maryland including following:
- the Antietam Campaign through Maryland and Virginia into Sharpsburg, Maryland,
- the Attack on Washington through Washington, DC and Brookeville, MD and into Virginia,
- the Gettysburg Campaign from Virginian, through Maryland and into Pennsylvania,
- and the escape route of John Wilks Booth from Washington, DC through Southern Maryland into Virginia.
