Kelly Dudeck
Director of Strategy and Solutions

Kelly Dudeck has spent over a decade working in either agricultural policy, land preservation or local food systems work. She was Howard County’s first Food Policy Director. Before that, she was the Executive Director of the Maryland Agricultural Resource Council and prior to that Kelly served as Director of Rural Lands at 1000 Friends of Maryland, where she administered the Keep Farmers Farming campaign, as well as the Partners for Open Space coalition. She has also worked for the Ohio Department of Agriculture and Baltimore County’s Agricultural Land Preservation Program. In addition to serving on the Rural Legacy Advisory Board, the Partners for Open Space Executive Committee, and the Maryland Food Policy Blueprint Advisory Committee, Kelly is also a LEAD Class VII alumni.
Scott Jendrek

Patapsco Distilling Company
Towson University graduate and Patapsco Distilling Company founder, Scott Jendrek got started brewing his own beer 20 years ago. A career in biotechnology piqued Scott’s interest of the fermentation process. He spent the next two decades crafting his skill. The process of brewing beer and distilling spirits are actually identical in the early stages. A few years ago, a turn toward distilling spirits made with local, Maryland grain became Scott’s passion.
Polly Pittman
Owner
The Vineyards at Dodon
Polly Pittman grew up at Dodon when it was still a tobacco farm. She has worked with her extended family to preserve the farm, and in 2010 she and her husband established a vineyard and winery on the property. Polly is also a professor of health policy at George Washington University.
