Preservation Maryland is now hiring for two integral positions within the organization: Individual Giving Officer and Revitalization Policy Analyst.

THE INDIVIDUAL GIVING OFFICER

Plays a pivotal role in advancing the mission and financial sustainability of Preservation Maryland. This position is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to cultivate and steward individual donors, ensuring a strong and growing base of support.

Proven experience in individual giving, fundraising, or related roles needed. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate the organization’s mission and impact.

THE REVITALIZATION POLICY ANALYST

Will play a crucial role in advancing our mission by researching, developing, and advocating for policies that promote sustainable development. This position requires a keen understanding of smart growth principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

This role will conduct in-depth research on smart growth policies, affordable housing, infill and redevelopment, planning best practices, and related topics. Analyze existing policies to identify areas for improvement and innovation in support of sustainable development goals. Strong research and analytical skills needed. Familiarity with GIS and data analysis tools is a plus, but not a requirement.
